I work primarily with digital mediums that replicate those of traditional works. I have a self taught and academic knowledge of figure drawing, colour study, ​creative process, historical art trends & design language.

The one thing I love the most about traditional art is that you have the ability to work with many different mediums. I wanted to replicate that freedom in my digital work, rather than become bored with the same method of creating.

I am not the best at teaching people things, for a multitude of reasons. Drawing is a skill that takes a long time and dedication to hone. There are plenty of resources online to practice the many aspects of what makes someone good at drawing. That being said, I can do my best to explain my process within any given style I offer, upon request!

My earliest memory of drawing with intention and not just because there were crayons laying in sight, was when I was 7 years old. it was then that I actively began to seek educational media for drawing and experimenting with other mediums. The first medium I was fascinated with, apart from graphite, was pastels. By age 11, I had collected an abundance of mediums and tools, which I often combined out of curiosity. When I was 13 I briefly went through a stint of printing Deviant Art drawings and tracing them into my sketchbook. At some point after that phase ended, my skill level began to take a steady incline to where I am today. I started taking paid commissions in 2009, when I was 17.

I draw my inspiration not only from traditional mediums, but also illustration styles and design influences like: Art Nouveau Art Deco 1950s Advertisements Jim Henson (Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Legend, Mirror Mask, etc.) Elena Kucharik (80s Care Bears Illustrator) 90's Liquid Television

I currently work on a Wacom Cintiq 27QHDT, of which no longer has driver support ☹️. My plan is to move to a Huion Pro 27 144Hz (or newer) when my current graphics monitor will no longer run on my OS. I also have two 27" HP Pavilion Monitors for extra screen space. My PC is a beefy big boy custom build, which I won't bore anyone with (but you're welcome to ask). My main brush/tool addiction is a combination of True Grit, Grut, & Kyle T Webster. I'm a slave to Adobe. I can certainly teach myself more affordable programs... but I really really don't want to.
