InnovateNB Awards
Created in the fall of 2023, this piece was commissioned by Innovate New Brunswick to create a unique representation of an assigned award category. That would then be awarded to the winner there within.
I was chosen to represent the Economic Impact Through Innovation Award; won by SmartSkin Technologies.
Hexxus Mutation
Created in the Fall of 2021, this piece was a response to a time & movement prompt given by one of my instructors at NBCCD.
Students were directed to illustrate a piece that demonstrated time and movement in an effective way.
I was inspired by the evil pollution entity in the 1992 animated film Ferngully, as the movie holds great meaning to me.
Texture Cubes
Created in the winter of 2022, this piece was a response to a prompt about the contrast of the designed and natural world, given by one of my instructors at NBCCD.
Students were expected to choose four textures to study. Two of which being designed by man and another pair from something formed by nature. All while containing each study in the form of a cube.
I chose two retro objects manufactured by humans, a Rubiks Cube and a Lava Lamp. The textures I chose to represent the natural world were Animal Fur and an Opal Gemstone.
Appreciating Flowers
Created in the Spring of 2022, this piece was a response to a depth of field prompt given by one of my instructors at NBCCD.
Students were encouraged to practice their new found understanding of visual depth in a composition.
As a final project I chose to use my own original character and my own love of sunflowers.
Caelestis Fungus Cervi
Created in the spring of 2024, this piece was a response to a prompt challenge held on Instagram by @feefal.
The inspiration offered by the host of the challenge was displayed as a list of various types of fungi, along with a celestial theme. It was up to participants to create a character design based on one of the provided fungi while also taking the theme into consideration.
I chose the Lilac Coral Fungus as my inspiration, leaning in the realm of outer space in order to represent a celestial environment.
Typographic Self Portrait
Created in the Winter of 2023, this piece was a response to a typographic prompt given by one of my instructors at NBCCD.
Students were instructed to create a self portrait with the primary focus being typography.
This piece was a favourite by the instructor who led the course. I took time to render my likeness in the form of a verbal map in my own handwriting.
Better Than AI
Created in early 2023, these pieces were a response to a typographic design prompt given by one of my instructors at NBCCD.
Students were allowed the freedom to choose an art movement of their choice and applying that style to a particular event, while focusing primarily on typography in our designs.
I took a modern take on Retro Futurism and applied that to a fabricated Graphic Design Expo inspired by our own student exhibition launching in the spring.
Lord of the Flies
Created in March of 2023, this piece was a response to a novel illustration prompt given by one of my instructors at NBCCD.
Students were expected to re-imagine the cover of the popular allegory novel by the award winning author William Golding.
I decided to pull from the dark and despairing themes, focusing primarily on Piggy; a character who's glasses held great significance in the story. The boar's severed head was another symbolic feature that I included, while also giving the entire design a wash of retro zombie comics and gore.
OMISTA Credit Union
Created in spring of 2022, these pieces were made to provide the Fredericton Branch with a functional way to communicate outages and closures to members while maintaining a professional brand presence.
Additional pieces were created in the same year to promote a Collabria Credit Card campaign that was ongoing at the time. Designed to showcase the various benefits of the product while also maintaining strong brand presence. The goal being to pique interest while reinforcing the idea that these great solutions can be found in a familiar place - navigating new opportunities while reminding them of the business' commitment to providing excellent service.

Bad Man Novel
Created in the spring of 2022, this piece was a response to a prompt centred around how art influences design, given by one of my instructors at NBCCD.
Students were expected to choose an art movement of their choice and apply it to any type of modern design.
I chose to re-design Bad Man, a novel by Dathan Auerbach. Taking Art Nouveau and blending it with the retro aesthetic of a 1980s VHS tape case to create an eye catching new cover.
New Brunswick Tourism
Created in the fall of 2022, this piece was a response to a Brochure prompt given by one of my instructors at NBCCD.
Students were employed by our instructor, acting as a company client from the province, to create a brochure.
I used the provided graphical and informational content supplied by the client. With permission, adding my own fall themed touches in order to stand out from my peers.
The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde
Created in Winter of 2022, this piece was a response to formatting prompt given by one of my instructors at NBCCD.
Students were expected to design the cover of the novel as well as all 100+ pages. Special care was taken to represent the story's essence in an easy-to-digest way while also being adventurous with our designs.
I wanted to blend a minimalist approach with my own inclination for meticulous detail for bot the cover and the interior of the book.
