About this goal:

I live in a relatively small outdated apartment building with my two partners. There are 16 units (12 two bedrooms and 4 one bedrooms), lots of large families with small kids, but only two washers and two dryers for the entire building to make use of. These appliances are very old, breakdown multiple times a month, and are almost constantly running from 7am to 9pm.

We either can't get a machine because it's busy, one or more has broke down, or we just can't afford it. At $2.50 per cycle for each machine, often times the dryer won't dry things and we have to run it a few times... So you can imagine how quickly funds run dry after getting a very small chunk of laundry completed. We have an embarrassing amount of clothing in bags, because our hampers are at capacity and we don't want a floor full of clothes (if we can help it). We can never seem to get ahead of our laundry... All of which could be remedied with a combination washer/dryer.

If you'd like to help in the smallest way possible, consider sending your tips to this goal when you get work from me or when you're feeling generous.

Cumulative Contributions

This means that your raffle entries are based on the overall amount you have donated by the time the featured item/goal has been fully met.

Cumulative
Contributions

No need to make one large contribution when you can

make small ones that stack overtime!

Valid Entries

Raffle entries are granted only through featured crowd-funded items/cash goals. If a contribution has been made on an item/goal that is not featured, it will not count as a raffle entry.

Valid
Entries

All entries are considered helpful, but there are ways

to contribute to ensure you're entered for the chance to win!

Don't want to win?

Contributions are primarily seen as very helpful tips. So opting out of winning while still contributing to the goal is totally fine! There are two ways you can opt out:

  1. Letting us know before/when you contribute, that you'd prefer not to be entered into the raffle. You can change your mind later, as long as it's before the raffle has started.

  2. You can opt out if your name is called a winner. This can be done while the raffle is live, or during the two week grace period for those who couldn't make the livestream. Unclaimed prizes will be re-raffled anyway.

It's okay to not want to win a prize. Consider it a tip!

Coupons & Free Prints

Coupons are not available through any alternative means. If you'd like a chance to earn money off of a custom commission, you will have to participate! Prints are typically available with any commission, at an added cost to the client.

These prizes are exclusive in one way or another!

Buyouts

Buyouts can happen, but are not encouraged, as it can ruin the chance for others to participate in the raffle. In the event of a buyout, the individual will only receive 1st prize.

Buyouts

It's not the best idea, but who are we to

complain about reaching a goal?!
